Timothy O'Hara currently maintains his private practice in Pismo Beach, California, hand maintains a thriving Business & Commercial Real Estate Brokerage along the Central Coast. 

 

Not only has Timothy O’Hara maintained a private practice for the last 30 years, he served on the California State Board of Parole Hearings as an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ), supervisor, and appointee of the Governor for 16 of those years.

 

In his private practice, he specializes in business sales and acquisition with a focus on medical/dental practice sales and acquisitions.  He provides a full service to his clients that includes much more than representation while selling or purchasing a business and/or real estate.  He is versed in the nuances of transitioning clients into or out of their business.  He is there for all aspects of the transition including finding, negotiating, completing purchase/lease agreements for the real estate and/or business.  He provides a full-service transition from start to finish.

 

He previously served as Of Counsel with Marvin Firestone M.D., J.D. & Associates in San Mateo, where his work included medical practice transactions, professional corporation formation, vaccine injury matters, and professional licensing defense cases and appeals.

 

Timothy W. O’Hara graduated from California State University Fresno with a Masters of Arts in Biology in 1989. He then went on to obtain a Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego in 1992 and a Masters in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School in 1994. Mr. O’Hara is also a Licensed California Real Estate Broker and is well-versed in California Real Estate Law. He is known for his thorough approach to transactional work and aggressive trial work in this area. Mr. O’Hara is also a trained mediator.
